Arduino Genuino 101 or Intel Curie orientation visualizer

Introduction

In this tutorial, I am going to teach you step by step process to make this Arduino Genuino 101 or Intel Curie orientation visualizer. So if you move your Arduino Genuino 101 or Intel Curie  or roll it, it would exactly look same in the visual representation in the processing code. "Processing" is an opensource tool or language which is used to primarily process information. In this tutorial, we are using processing to process our orientation data coming from Arduino Genuino 101 or Intel Curie and show it in the graphical format.

Pre-Requisites

For this tutorial to run you will need the following:

  1. Download library from https://github.com/arduino-libraries/MadgwickAHRS . This library will allow arduino to calculate the accurate orientation and get the filtered data.
  2. Download "Processing" from https://processing.org/download/ . "Processing" will be used to visualize the orientation of our Arduino Genuino 101 or Intel Curie.

(If you are new to this, then I will recommend you to see this tutorial. where I have explained about the Arduino Genuino 101 or intel curie board and installing drivers for the same here : http://iotmonk.com/courses/arduino-genuino-101intel-curie-getting-started/

And if you are seeing this page directly, you can go to this link http://iotmonk.com/courses/arduino-genuino-101-intel-curie-orientation-visualizer/ and start from beginning.
