In this tutorial, I am going to show step by step process to create a 555 Timer IC touch switch on breadboard which will be 100 times sensitive. So if you are seeing this page directly, I will recommend you to start from beginning here. Before beginning, make sure that you have all the components ready for making this project.
I have not shown the touch plate in the image. But a touch plate is nothing but a copper clad soldered with wire. If you are just beginner, then you can search for the similar touch plate on amazon. Please keep this circuit diagram handy and while making the circuit on breadboard, follow the below circuit diagram.
Now follow the below video step by step and make the circuit. On the bottom of the page, I have also shared the images of the breadboard for the convenience.
The touch circuit will detect stray voltages produced by mains voltages and electrostatic build up in a room. When you keep your hand on the touch plate, it will detect the changes in the voltage level and trigger the led.
The led will be on for some time and will get switched off automatically. Here are some more images of breadboard.
